About us

About ICH

The Islamic Center of Hagerstown (ICH) provides a setting for American Muslims to practice their faith, engage in their civic duties and make contributions to the broader society.  We serve American Muslim families from approximately 50 different cultural backgrounds, including U.S.-born Americans, and the wider Washington County community with worship, education, counseling, recreation and other programs, services and events.

ICH is a multi-cultural center that celebrates the American way of life while honoring the teachings of the Islamic faith and cherishing our different cultural traditions. We welcome our non-Muslim neighbors to visit us and get to know Muslims and experience the richness and beauty of our diversity.

Our Facilities

The entrance to ICH is from the parking lot at 122 E Washington Street in downtown Hagerstown between Locust Street and Mulberry Street. Public parking is also available on side streets and across the street in the Locust Street public parking lot.

Our main building is 30,000 square feet and contains two prayer halls, a banquet hall, a full commercial kitchen, a conference room, a gymnasium, a small bookstore, a children’s playroom, and a courtyard.

We look forward to greeting you!
